Two weeks ago, I bought the book "Hannibal". I've seen the movie but I still want to read the book it was based on. Like the "Red Dragon", I saw it as a movie first before I read the book. I'm on Chapter 12 in "Hannibal". At this rate, it'll take me a month to finish this one. Hahaha. Normally, a book like this (light stuff) will take me 3 days to 5 days to read. But since I got hooked on FB and its games, reading comes after FB. hehehe. But rainy days will be here soon... maybe during this time I'll spend more time reading...
Yesterday, I bought Stieg Larsson's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". Highly recommended by BFF Cathy. She's on the 2nd (or is it the 3rd???) book of this trilogy. I normally buy my books from Booksale. But this one I bought from Powerbooks. Ouch! Don't ask how much it cost. :) AND then....
I bought another book, from Powerbooks also. My first Murakami book. It's "A Wild Sheep Chase". I saw it from someone at work. I read the first few pages. I got hooked so I said, I have to have it. *Sigh* Don't also ask how much this cost.
Now... I have these 3 books (not counting the one I also bought with "Hannibal"). And I ... I sigh with pleasure at the thought that I have something to look forward to when I'm bored. :)
